 Natalia Martinez is considered the new jewel of
the crown in the women's volleyball program of the Dominican Republic and the
girl who turns 17 at the end of November has plenty achievements to justify the
accolade.

In 2016, Natalia was recipient of Most Valuable
Player honors at both the U18 and U20 NORCECA Continental Championships held in
San Juan, Puerto Rico and Fort Lauderdale, USA, respectively.

The hard-hitting Martinez, the best scorer at
the U18 event including performances of 33 and 29 points in two matches against
the United States, also possesses a powerful jump serve.

One year earlier, as a 14-year old youngster,
she was named the best outside hitter and best server at the U20 Pan American
Cup held in Santo Domingo where she scored 11 aces in match to tie the cup
record.

Martinez Is fresh from helping her country to a
victory at the Pan Am Final Four Cup in Peru in preparation for the U18 World
Championship in Argentina.
